Stripped... Bare It All For Art

Photos by David Salcido, Scott Pierce & Ian WenderIt's hot in the summertime, so what better way to celebrate that fact than by getting as many people naked as possible, all in the name of art? Eight models were situated throughout the performance space and the artists began creating. Punk band Drunk On Tuesday took the stage later in the evening, stripped down to nothing, and rocked the house with a spirited 30 minute set. Exhibiting artist Deon Allen got in on the act, wearing nothing but an apron, and crunched out an original performance piece, then was quickly followed by the colorful local group, A Cheetah Named Vegas.
